Today I would like to share some simple information regarding a small town near by Kuantan, Sungai Lembing. The history of Sungai Lembing, you may google search.

How to go Sungai Lembing from Papa Kuantan Homestay? 

From Papa Kuantan Homestay go out to the main road (towards East Coast Mall direction, because it is one way) make a U Turn in the traffic. Yeah~going straight until next traffic light make a RIGHT turn. Then just going straight....after 30-45 minutes (depends on your speed and drinving skill) you will arrive at Sungai Lembing town ^^v. Any interesting place to visit in Sungai lembing?

You may go Rainbow waterfall in Sungai Lembing, climb Bukit Lembing, or just a lesiure walk visiting such heritage small town. 

How to go Rainbow waterfall （林明彩虹瀑布）in Sungai Lembing?

Sorry, you only can reach there by four wheel drive vecihle. I can recommend you one driving uncle. His family from Sungai Lembing and provide transportation to Rainbow waterfall. Please facebook PM Boy Chan to contact for price and reservation. Just mention Keem recommend, he will do.

It's difficult to reach Rainbow waterfall?
The level of difficulty is depends on people stamina, after the four wheel drive arrive the Rainbow waterfall, you still have to walk around 20-30 minutes (a simple trekking) to the waterfall side. It is not suitable to small kids (below 7 years old) unless the kids are well train in exercise, trekking or hiking. 

What should I bring or apparel? 
You may wear a simple T-shirt with swimming suit inside (if you would like to play water), a comfortable shoes which can walk inside water such as crocs or you may rent the black plastic shoes (RM2 picture below) from the four wheel driver (not every four wheel uncle will provide this). Lastly, you may bring some biscuit, instant chocolate or coffee drink for picnic purposes. Lastly, of course one towel and extra cloth for changing if you want to have fun in the Rainbow waterfall. ^_^　oppss, don't forgot your camera as well, if water resistant camera will be the best ^O^

When is the best visitation season?

Please don't come on monsoon season. The apparent of rainbow is quite depends on your luck, so good Luck and have fun ^_^

From the previous post, I had have share the location how to go my Papa Kuantan Homestay, a homestay that I trust it is the most strategic location and also easy to find homestay in Kuantan town.

Papa Kuantan Homestay is a double story house in Kuatan town . Our neighbors are friendly family ^^

It consists of a living hall, dining hall, three rooms and three washroom

First  post of the blog, let me briefly introduce my Papa Kuantan Homestay. 

my Papa homestay was located in the Kuantan town, which just 

5 minute walking distance to Terminal Makmur (Kuantan Bus Stop)

10 minute walking distance to Zenith and East Cost Mall in Kuantan town.

15 minute driving distance to Teluk Cempedak.
30 minute driving distance to Sungai Lembing.
45 minute driving distance to Gambang Water Resort or Cherating
40 minute driving distance to Kuantan Airport.

It is so convenient for you to stay here with a group of friends and family.

Most important is it is easy to get there. 

my Papa Kuantan home stay just located behind the LA hotel. In the center of the town located in Bukit Ubi!!

Can you see that? East Coast Mall just not far from the main road.  

 If you come from the Indera Mahkota, Wong Ah Jang, you will pass by the Stadium Darul Makmur (Kuantan Stadium) in your right handside.

If you don't have your own transport, you can come to Kuantan by public bus such as Transnational and Bulan Restu. 

After you arrived at the Terminal Makmur (Kuantan bus stop) walk passing through the stadium across this main road then you will reach LA Hotel. It takes around 5 minute. 

For the public bus, if you want to go Kuantan from Kuala Lumpur, I can suggest you depart from Titiwangsa bus station which has more choices of bus company compare to Puduraya. 

For sure, you can reach Titiwangsa stationby Monorail or KTM.

From my experience, I will prefer Bulan Restu bus company compare to Transnational (Just personal opinion). The seats in Bulan Restu are 1+2 instead 2+2 in Transnational.
